Supply Only – Standard Purchase

Purchase the PSU for installation yourself or by your chosen technician.

Your power supply remains covered for genuine product faults in accordance with your statutory consumer rights and any applicable warranty.

Please note: RedHouse Computers has not inspected your computer when the PSU is purchased on a supply-only basis. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the power supply is suitable for their system, including wattage requirements, physical compatibility and the connections required by their components.

Damage caused by incorrect installation, incorrect connections, physical damage, modification, misuse or another component within the computer is not considered a fault with the supplied PSU.

This does not affect your statutory rights in relation to genuinely faulty goods.

• Basic stability testing following installation

If a PSU supplied and installed by RedHouse Computers develops a confirmed product fault during the 12-month installation guarantee period, removal and refitting of the replacement PSU is included at no additional labour charge, subject to the warranty terms.

Professional installation covers the PSU installation and our workmanship. It does not provide a new warranty for existing components within the computer or cover unrelated faults, pre-existing problems, software issues, accidental damage, misuse or subsequent modifications.

The computer must be brought to our store for installation. Installation times will be confirmed after the order has been placed.

UK Mains Lead Included

This product is supplied in the manufacturer's original packaging, which contains a European mains lead.

For UK customers, RedHouse Computers supplies a separate UK BS 1363 mains lead suitable for use with the power supply at no additional charge.

UK customers should use the UK mains lead supplied by RedHouse Computers.

Do not use the European mains lead with an unsuitable or unapproved travel adaptor.

Important Installation Information

PC power supplies are mains-powered electrical components and should only be installed by someone with appropriate knowledge and experience.

Before installation, please ensure:

• The PSU provides sufficient wattage for the complete system.

• The PSU has the correct connections for the motherboard, CPU and graphics card.

• The PSU is physically compatible with the computer case.

• All power connections are correctly installed before switching the computer on.

• Cables and connectors are not forced into incompatible sockets.

Incorrect installation can result in damage to the PSU and other computer components.

Where evidence establishes that damage has resulted from incorrect installation, incorrect connections, modification, misuse, accidental damage or another external cause, this would not constitute a product fault.

Warranty & Returns

This product is covered by your statutory consumer rights.

If you believe the PSU has developed a fault, please contact RedHouse Computers before attempting any repair or modification. We may need to inspect and test the PSU to establish the nature and cause of the reported fault.

Where testing confirms a genuine fault with the supplied PSU, the appropriate remedy will be provided in accordance with your statutory rights and applicable warranty.

Where the PSU is tested and no product fault is found, any additional diagnosis of the customer's computer, installation or other components may be subject to our standard diagnostic charges. We will advise you of any applicable charge before additional diagnostic work is undertaken.

Online Orders

Consumers purchasing online normally have the right to cancel their order within 14 days of receiving the goods, subject to applicable consumer legislation.

You may inspect the product as you reasonably would in a shop. Where handling goes beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the product and results in a reduction in its value, an appropriate deduction may be made from the refund where permitted by law.

Your statutory rights are not affected.
